CodeCamp Partners with Nagasaki Prefecture to Foster IT Talent Development

CodeCamp Partners with Nagasaki Prefecture for IT Talent Development

CodeCamp Inc., headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is taking significant steps to address the demand for IT talent in Nagasaki Prefecture. The company has signed a contract with the Nagasaki Prefectural Industrial Labor Department's Future Talent Division to execute the "Reiwa 7 IT Talent Development and Employment Support Project." This initiative aims to assist individuals with no prior experience in IT, including those who are unemployed or in non-regular employment, by providing complete support from skill acquisition to securing full-time employment through a new program titled "Nagasaki IT CAMP."

By facilitating career changes for those new to the industry, this project seeks to bolster the recruitment efforts of local information technology companies.

Training to Become Immediate Contributors in Local IT

The program splits into two distinct courses: the "Engineer Training Course" and the "DX Human Resource Foundation Course." Through these, aspiring IT professionals and digital transformation (DX) specialists will be cultivated.

Engineer Training Course Overview

In the Engineer Training Course, participants will learn practical skills related to front-end and back-end development, database management, and much more. Additionally, they will gain essential knowledge about IT foundations, development tools, and processes vital in real-world scenarios. This comprehensive training will open doors not only to web engineering roles but also to various positions where programming skills are required.

DX Human Resource Foundation Course Objectives

The DX Human Resource Foundation Course aims to cultivate professionals capable of utilizing IT effectively. It features a curriculum aligned with the highly sought-after “IT Passport” certification and includes case studies on IT applications and problem-solving techniques. At the end of the course, participants will present proposals addressing specific challenges. They will be required to engage in either programming (using Google Apps Script) or AI/No-Code solutions (like ChatGPT and Make), ensuring they are well-prepared for any roles demanding IT proficiency.

Comprehensive Learning Support

Instruction will be delivered by expert CodeCamp engineers through one-on-one lessons and chat support, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Additionally, job-hunting support will be provided, including interview preparation and networking events with local businesses, enabling participants to take their first steps towards becoming key players in the digital economy.
