Yuri commented on her pre-race preparations, stating, "In the week before the race, I arrived early to Kaga to acclimatize and practice daily. On the race day, with temperatures reaching 37 degrees Celsius, I faced dehydration and struggled with my internal conditions in the latter half. I often thought I couldn't go on, especially with the steep climbs and descents. However, I managed to cross the finish line thanks to the support and encouragement from everyone who has stood by me. Standing on the podium, I realized that completing the race was truly worthwhile. I gained invaluable experience that I will utilize in my future endeavors."
